Thank you for logging into the MSC Scotland website.  Since 2011 the Monte Start Committee have organised the Start and UK leg of the Rallye Monte Carlo Historique, and since 2016, the Rallye Monte Carlo Classique.  On this website you will find information about these events and links to the Automobile Club de Monaco for regulations and entry forms

In support of the Monte Start, Ecosse Rallye Drivers Club (ERDC) organise the very popular Monte Heritage Runs.  These runs allow Classic Car owners to be part of the Start of the Rallye and experience the special atmosphere of the Monte.

ERDC also organise a number of Classic Car Runs throughout the year for club members and all others who have a Classic and love to drive it with other Classic owners.

ABOUT

The Monte Start Committee Scotland has successfully organised the Start and UK Leg of the Rallye since 2011.  Between them they have a proven track record of organising many different types of motorsport events. Douglas Anderson, the man who brought the Monte back to Scotland, is the UK co-ordinator for the Rallye Monte Carlo Historique and the Rallye Monte Carlo Classique on behalf of the Automobile Club de Monaco. Janet Telfer is the Start venue co-ordinator and Brian Telfer is the Deputy. Brian is also the Start commentator. Alistair Reid is the chief marshal and Jonathan Lord, of RSAC motorsport, is the event's motor sport adviser.  Craig McGibbon is the webmaster. They work with volunteers from many different motorsport clubs in Scotland and beyond.
